CCS Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is an exciting partnership between the CIDL, Springfield Township Library, and Clarkston Community Schools that promotes literacy and a love of reading!

Teams of 4th and 5th graders at the elementary school level read a set of fiction and nonfiction books as chosen by their librarians. Then they compete in a “battle” with their peers, answering questions in quiz show format. Battle of the Books promotes teamwork, study skills, and a lifelong love of learning! To learn more:
