Tech Toys

The Clarkston Independence District Library provides patrons with access to a collection of devices known as “Tech Toys.” These machines are available by appointment and must be used under staff supervision.

Types of Machines

• Sewing

• CNC (Glowforge, Cricut)

• Pressing

• Irons (Solder)

• Sublimation

All appointments are to be booked starting a week from the request date.

Innovation Lab

The Clarkston Independence District Library hosts open hours twice a month for questions, consultations, or demonstrations of the library’s machines. These walk-in sessions require no prior experience and are ideal for patrons who aren’t sure where to start or who have questions about the library’s makerspace offerings.
