Introducing: Creative Coding Adventures

The Clarkston Independence District Library was one of only 28 libraries in the country to receive a grant from Google and the American Library Association to be part of the Ready to Code Initiative. As the only library in Michigan to have won, we are thrilled that we get to use our funds to help teens in the Clarkston Community.

Registration for the Fall 2018 workshop series is now open! These workshops are completely free, no prior coding experience is required. We only ask that you are familiar with a keyboard and have decent typing skills.

Note that this program is a 10-week workshop, with each lesson building on the previous. Attendance at all workshops is required to get the most out of the program. The fall 2018 workshops run once a week from:

Tuesday October 16th to Tuesday December 18th from 4-6 PM.
